Mythology mixed with metal and mayhem
Jon Mikl Thor wants to pump you up!
For some reason most of us guys wanted to be Superman, wear red and blue nylons and fight crime. But aside from donning a limp-assed costume on October 31, most of us never really did much about it.

Young Jon Mikl Thor wanted to be Superman. Popeye too. He hadn’t been told that all he could do was the costume thing. In fact, he hadn’t even been told about the Halloween only stipulation. He used to go to school every day with the Superman costume under his shirt and pants and emerge as the capped crusader at every recess.

“I even jumped out the first storey of the school dressed as Superman and got a concussion,” he laughs over the phone from his Vancouver home. “I took it pretty far.”

Current info on THOR's upcoming shows. I'll post more info as I get it:

THOR Tours East Coast

THOR has comptleted his early 2004 tour of the USA & Canada.
Mission accomplished in spreading the word about the most recent
CD, Beast Women From The Center Of The Earth. Along with THOR, World Famous artist Mick Hoffman, who is a talented musician & songwriter, and another legend of Rock, Frank Soda, performed with THOR throughout the tour. Beastwomen is a concept album along the lines of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.

THANKS to EVERYONE who saw THOR in March '04! Plans for April dates have been postponed,
but THOR will be back on stage later in 2004. We'll keep you posted.


Toronto's GOAT HORN opened for THOR on his March 2004 dates.

FUBAR The Movie released on DVD in the USA

FUBAR, the hilarious Mocumentary featuring music by THOR
has been released in the USA on DVD by Xenon Pictures.
The film opened to rave reviews at the Sundance Film Festival and at theatres and on DVD in Canada. Many have said this is the greatest Rock movie since Spinal Tap. Some reviewers put FUBAR in the
top 5 greatest rock movies of all time including Hard Days Nite
and Help. The DVD features the amazing video by THOR -
FUBAR Is a Super Rocker, the theme song of the movie.
THIS JUST IN: New Album In The Works - Released later in 2004!

Although Triumphant and the brand new CD Beast Women From The Center Of The Earth,
are in full swing, THOR will be recording a new album in Los Angeles to be produced by the super
multi-talented Frank Meyer. Recording starts sooin in the City of Angels.
